The Future
"The soundtrack to the best dream you've ever had"
IN THE FUTURE there are fifty-foot bass lines cruising with synthesisers and cinematic strings behind soft, luscious vocals.
The duo has been working in the studio with producers Alan Moulder, Flood and Rik Simpson (who between them have captained the massive landscapes of Depeche Mode, U2, Nine Inch Nails and Portishead). The songs are about perfection: a series of emotionally charged, sexy film scenes and the stuff of dreams, which are now finding their way to the stage with a live band.
Manchester City Life gig review
"The Future seem to be able to throw out some marathon basss lines during their 25 minutes on stage, while their vocalist grasps the electronic reins to saturate it all with some very enticing hooks. And looks. Very refreshing and at just the time they are needed."
